A street in Edinburgh has been taped off after a man was found injured on Sunday morning.

A number of police cars and ambulances attended the city’s Learmonth Terrace, shortly before 10am.

Officers confirmed they were responding to reports of a man who had been hurt. He has since been taken to hospital.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We attended Learmonth Terrace in Edinburgh at 9.50am after receiving a report of a man found injured.

“He has been taken to hospital and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.”
