One to watch
With four games again on Thursday the big talking point will be Cristiano Ronaldo’s first public appearance since his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
The 37-year-old hit out at Manchester United, manager Ten Hagg and former teammates Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney following a poor start to the season.
He would eventually cut his contract short and will go into the World Cup without a club as he looks to can a fine career by winning the sport’s biggest trophy.
Portugal play Ghana with Uruguay taking on South Korea in what promises to be one of the tightest groups in Qatar.
