Gregor Townsend has named his 37-man squad for Scotland’s summer tour of the Americas.
The head coach has called up ten uncapped players as part of the group who will travel to face Canada, USA, Chile and Uruguay next month.
Nathan McBeth, Patrick Harrison, Robbie Smith, Will Hurd, Max Williamson, Ewan Johnson, Gregor Brown, Gus Warr, Arron Reed and Matt Currie are all now in with a chance of earning their first international caps on the tour.
Townsend has left out a whole host of familiar names and experienced players, with Zander Fagerson, Grant Gilchrist, Richie Gray, Finn Russell, Darcy Graham, Ben White, Blair Kinghorn and George Turner all absent from the group.
However, a core of players who have played over the past two years have remained, with Duhan van der Merwe, Matt Fagerson, Huw Jones, Pierre Schoeman, Jamie Ritchie, Rory Darge, Kyle Steyn, Scott Cummings and Sione Tuipulotu all named.
Scotland travel to Ottowa first, where they are scheduled to face Canada on July 6 before heading on to take on USA in Washington six days later.
The squad then heads to South America for a game against Chile in Santiago on July 20 and complete their tour when they face Uruguay in Montevideo on July 27.
