Steve Clarke has made a number of changes to his Scotland side for the Nations League match against Slovakia.

The manager has rested some players after the play-off final on Thursday, when Scotland beat Serbia on penalties to qualify for Euro 2020.

Sunday’s game would see Scotland top their group if they win, earning promotion to League A and giving the nation a good chance of having a play-off place for World Cup 2022, if needed.

Victory would also help with seedings for upcoming campaigns.

Clakre has kept some of the stars who helped secure the win over Serbia and drafted in others who will be hoping to make their mark.

Craig Gordon replaces David Marshall in goal, with Andy Considine, Liam Cooper and Scott McKenna in defence.

Kieran Tierney and Liam Palmer start in the full-back positions with John McGinn, Kenny McLean, Stuart Armstrong and Ryan Christie in midfield.

Oli McBurnie starts as the lone striker.
