Michael Beale and David Martindale have named their starting line-ups for the Rangers vs Livingston League Cup clash at Ibrox.

The sides meet for the quarterfinal at Ibrox on Wednesday night with a place at Hampden for the semi-finals on the line.

Hearts are the only team to have secured their place in the draw so-far after their victory over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Tuesday.

Alex Lowry scored the crucial goal in injury-time as Steven Naismith’s men ran out 2-1 winners in Ayrshire.

Rangers or Livi will join Hearts and the winners of the Ross County vs Aberdeen and Hibernian vs St Mirren games in the last four.

All seven remaining clubs have the first silverware of the season well within their sights with cup holders Celtic already out.

Last season’s defeated finalists Rangers will be the clear favourites for the trophy going into the semis should they get past Livingston in Glasgow.

Cyriel Dessers, who scored the only goal of the game against the Steelmen on Sunday, drops to the bench with Rabbi Matondo also missing through injury.

Beale has started with Jack Butland in goals behind a back four of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Ben Davies and Ridvan Yilmaz.

Ryan Jack and John Lundstram anchor a three-man midfield beside Jose Cifuentes with Sam Lammers playing in a front-three beside Abdallah Sima and Kemar Roofe.

David Martindale will be hoping to spring a shock at Ibrox and book a date at the national stadium and he makes four changes from the 3-0 defeat to Celtic at the weekend.

They start with Shamal George in goals behind Ryan Prentice, Luiyi de Lucas, Ayo Obileye and Jamie Brandon with Jason Holt, Stephen Kelly, Sean Kelly, Kurtis Guthrie and Daniel McKay supporting Joel Nouble.

The semi-final draw will take place after full-time at Ibrox.
