Stephen Robinson and Philippe Clement have named their starting line-ups for the Premiership clash in Paisley.

Rangers make the short to take on St Mirren in the first of Sunday’s double header in the title race and battle for Europe.

The Ibrox side have a chance to go equal on points with Celtic at the top of the table, for a couple of hours at least, with the Hoops playing Dundee at Dens Park at 3pm.

Clement’s side would need to win by six goals to take top spot however with the league leaders also five goals ahead on goal difference.

Meanwhile the Saints could open up a five point gap between them and sixth placed Dundee in the fight for a place in Europe next season.

The top five sides will all enter European competition at some stage in the 24/25 season and Robinson’s side currently occupy that position with a two point advantage over Tony Docherty’s side.

A victory for the home side would also see them cut the gap to fourth place Kilmarnock to six points with four games to go, so it’s all to play for in Paisley and Dundee.

St Mirren have started with Zach Hemming in goals behind Marcus Fraser, Alex Gogic, James Bolton, Ryan Strain, Scott Tanser, Caolan Boyd-Munce, Mark O’Hara, Conor McMenaman, Greg Kiltie and Mikael Mandron.

The big decision for Clement was if he would bring Connor Goldson back in to the defence but he had decided to stick with the back-four that helped them beat Hearts in the Scottish Cup semi-final last weekend.

He has started with Jack Butland in goals with a back four of James Tavernier, John Souttar, Leon Balogun, Borna Barisic and a midfield of John Lundstram, Mohamed Diomande and Todd Cantwell supporting a front three of Dujon Sterling, Fabio Silva and Cyriel Dessers.
