St Mirren have completed the signing of Australian youth international Keanu Baccus on a two-year deal.
The 24-year-old will link up with the Buddies for their pre-season preparations in Northern Ireland pending visa approval.
South African-born Baccus, who represented the Olyroos at the Olympic Games in Tokyo last year, has made over 100 A-League appearances for Western Sydney Wanderers since debuting in 2016.
He becomes the Paisley side’s seventh addition of the summer window and follows hot on the heels of Declan Gallagher’s move from Aberdeen on Sunday.
Baccus also joins countryman Ryan Strain at St Mirren Park.
“Keanu will provide a real energy and quality to the team,” manager Stephen Robinson told the club’s website.
“He’s a real athlete and gets about the pitch well. We believe he can go on to be a full Australian international.
“He’s young but he’ll bring a lot of good qualities and will enhance, not just our team, but the Scottish game.”
