The Scottish Football Association have confirmed the referee and match officials for Saturday’s Old Firm game at Celtic Park.

Willie Collum will be the man in charge with David McGeachie and Ross Macleod as assistant referees and Don Robertson as fourth official.

Steven McLean is on VAR assisted by Graeme Stewart.

Collum was on VAR for the last time Rangers visited Celtic Park in a 2-1 win for the home side at the end of 2023.

That fixture wasn’t without controversy and Collum was criticised by Rangers for not calling the ref over to review a potential handball incident.

Only three points separate the sides at the top of the table going into what will be the final derby of the league season.

Celtic currently have the advantage and know if they can avoid a home defeat to their Glasgow rivals then they will be massive favourites to clinch their third title in a row.

Rangers travel across the city knowing they will need to win the game to have any realistic chance of lifting the trophy.

The Hoops also have a better goal-difference meaning only a 3-0 win or better for Philippe Clement’s would see them take top spot going into the final games.

But they haven’t won in Parkhead since a 2-0 victory in October 2020 that was played in an empty stadium due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the three meetings between the sides this season so far, Brendan Rodgers’ men have won two with the other ending in a draw.

There will no Rangers fans present at the game with only home support being allowed to attend for the fourth time this season.

Elsewhere Nick Walsh will referee Hearts vs Dundee, Euan Anderson will take charge of St Mirren vs Killie and John Beaton will be the man in the middle for Livingston vs St Johnstone.

Kevin Clancy has been appointed as referee for Motherwell’s trip to Ross County and Grant Irvine will take charge of Hibs vs Aberdeen.
