The Scottish FA has asked for permission to allow fans at Hampden for the Scottish Cup final.

Hibs v St Johnstone is currently scheduled to be played behind closed doors on Saturday, May 22.

A change to lockdown rules means 500 supporters can watch outdoor sports events in Scotland from Monday, but the stadium comes under the control of UEFA for Euro 2020 on Friday.

UEFA is now considering a request from the governing body in Scotland to let fans into the showpiece.

It has already been agreed that a maximum of 12,000 fans can watch Euro 2020 matches at Hampden in June.
