Ross County have signed Hibs midfielder Nohan Kenneh on loan for the rest of the season.
The Premiership’s bottom side confirmed the move, which is their first signing of the January window, on Friday.
Kenneh, who is an England under-18 international, joined Hibs from the Leeds United academy last year.
The 20-year-old has played 19 games and scored one goal for the Easter Road club since making the move in the summer.
Malky Mackay believes Kenneh can play a part in their quest for survival in the second half of the season.
The manager said: “Nohan was a player we had tracked previously and really enjoyed what he had offered in his youth days at Leeds United. He has already shown this season he has the ability and appetite to cope with the demands of the Scottish Premiership which is vitally important.”
“He has a good opportunity to come here and continue his development. He also has an opportunity to play his part in the second half of the campaign and I am sure he will no doubt show us the capabilities he has in the coming weeks and months ahead.”
Ross County play tenth-placed Motherwell at the weekend with only three points separating the sides.
