John Lundstram and Ben Davies both start for Rangers as Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s men look to cut the gap at the top of the league against St Johnstone.

The pair return to the starting line-up as the only changes from the midweek Champions League game against Ajax.

Davies partners Leon King in the back four with Borna Barisic and captain James Tavernier at left and right-back.

James Sands, who played in defence in Tuesday’s 3-1 defeat, has been moved to a midfield role alongside Lundstram with Malik Tillman just ahead of them supporting an attacking trio of Ryan Kent, Fashion Sakala and Antonio Colak.

Rangers fell seven points behind Premiership leaders Celtic following their late win against Dundee United on Saturday and they will be hoping to cut that back to four by the end of play on Sunday.

Meanwhile St Johnstone could move up to fifth with a win at McDiarmid Park.

Callum Davidson has started with Elliot Parish in goals behind James Brown, Andrew Considine, Mitchell, Ryan McGowan, Adam Montgomery, Melker Hallberg, David Wotherspoon, Graham Carey, Stevie May and Nicky Clark.

The game kicks-off at 12pm
