Rangers have confirmed the departure of Nikola Katic who leaves the club after four years at Ibrox.
The 25-year-old defender has signed for Swiss champions and Hearts Europa League conquerors FC Zurich.
Katic signed for the Ibrox club in 2018 and made 59 appearances and scored six goals, most notably a last minute winner at Celtic Park in 2019.
The 2-1 victory under Steven Gerrard was Rangers’ first win at the home of their rivals in over nine years and remains one of only three wins there since 2008.
He spent last season on loan to Hajduk Split in his homeland where he made 25 appearances.
He also has one cap for the Croatian national team.
Rangers confirmed he had joined Zurich on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee on Wednesday.
A statement from the club said: “Niko leaves a Ranger with everyone at Ibrox wishing him well for the next move in his career.”
