Rangers snapped up Belgian midfielder Nicolas Raskin from Standard Liege and Aberdeen signed Ajax goalkeeper Jay Gorter on loan on deadline day.

Some of the other most notable last-minute deals include Tony Watt to St Mirren, former Celtic kid Jack Aitchison to Motherwell and Aberdeen captain Anthony Stewart being loaned to MK Dons.

Celtic, who did most of their business earlier in the month with four new signings brought in, said goodbye to Oliver Abildgaard and are still waiting on Giorgos Giakoumakis sealing his move to the MLS.
