Stuart Kettlewell highlighted the potential he sees in Theo Bair after the striker joined Motherwell on a two-year deal.
The 23-year-old came through the ranks at Vancouver Whitecaps before being loaned out to Hamarkameratene in the Norwegian second tier.
He signed for St Johnstone for an undisclosed fee in January 2022 and scored once for the Perth outfit before leaving the club in July.
Speaking about his new Canada international recruit, boss Kettlewell told Wellās official website: āTheo is someone who I feel will add to our project here.
āHe has experience of playing in the league but more importantly, he is only 23-years-old.
āI feel he has plenty room for development and that is something we should be excited about.
āIāve been vocal about wanting to improve our options up top and Theo fits the bill for that.ā
Bair represented Canada at under-18, under-21 and under-23 level before making his senior debut in January 2020, scoring on his debut in a 4-1 win over Barbados.
āItās great to say Iām a Motherwell player,ā Bair said.
āIām looking forward to meeting up with my new teammates ahead of our season opener on Saturday.
āThe manager wants me to do a job, so I will get to work straight away and try to hold up my end of the deal.ā
