Motherwell have completed the loan signing of Louis Moult from Burton Albion, bringing the player back to Fir Park for a second spell.
Moult was a prolific scorer for the Steelmen from 2015 to 2018, when he scored 50 goals in 98 appearances. That form led to a move to Preston North End, where the player spent four years before moving to Burton.
He’s now agreed to spend the season on loan in Lanarkshire and will hope to regain the goalscoring form that made him a fans’ favourite.
Motherwell manager Stephen Hammell said: “To get Louis on board is a major coup.
“I played alongside Louis and I am fully aware of what he is capable of and what he will bring to this team.
“I’m excited to see what he has to offer this season.”
