Hibernian have announced the departure of full-back Marijan Cabraja after a year at Easter Road.
The Croatian has signed for HNK Rijeka for an undisclosed fee, with Hibs retaining a sell-on clause should he move on again.
After arriving from Dinamo Zagreb in 2022, Cabraja went on to make 26 appearances for Hibs, helping the club finish fifth in the Premiership and seal a Europa Conference League place for next season.
Cabraja’s exit comes days after striker Kevin Nisbet left the club for Millwall.
Manager Lee Johnson said: “We’d like to thank Marijan for all his hard work and dedication.
“This transfer works well for both of us and allows Marijan to compete back in his homeland, Croatia. We wish him all the best for the future.”
Johnson is working to strengthen his squad for next season and the club are in talks to bring back defender Will Fish on another season-long loan from Manchester United.
Fish played 21 times last season, scoring three goals and impressing Johnson and his coaching team.
Meanwhile, Hibs have added to their summer plans, confirming a friendly against Blackpool.
The team will travel south for a match on July 29, between their Conference League second round matches.
