Kyogo Furuhashi has been named as a substitute for Celtic as the Scottish champions face Real Madrid.
The teams for the Champions League opener at Celtic Park have been named and the Japanese striker does not start for the hosts, days after a shoulder injury saw him come off early in the 4-0 win over Rangers.
Manager Ange Postecoglou said that Furuhashi had trained ahead of the clash with the European champions but has opted to start with Giorgos Giakoumakis up front.
Joe Hart starts in goal with Greg Taylor, Moritz Jenz, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Josip Juranovic making up the back four.
Captain Callum McGregor, Matt O’Riley and Reo Hatate form a midfield trio.
Giakoumakis starts through the middle in attack and is flanked by Jota and Liel Abada.
On the bench for the hosts are Scott Bain, Benjamin Siegrist, Alexandro Bernabei, Anthony Ralston, David Turnbull, James McCarthy, Aaron Mooy, Daizen Maeda, Sead Haksabanovic, James Forrest, Stephen Welsh and Furuhashi.
