Kilmarnock have confirmed the permanent signing of Lewis Mayo from Rangers.
The 23-year-old was an ever-present for the Rugby Park side during a loan-spell at the club last season as he established himself at the heard of defence.
He made 42-appearances in all-competitions for Derek McInnes’s men and helped them secure another season of Premiership football and a League Cup semi-final place.
Despite being in and around the Rangers first-team squad since 2019, he never made a single league appearance and has had loan spells at Partick Thistle and Dunfermline.
He also has 11 caps for the Scotland Under-21 side.
Killie confirmed the three-year-deal on Thursday and say he will go straight into the squad for this weekend’s League Cup group stage clash against Dunfermline.
A statement released on the club’s social media said: “We’re delighted to announce the permanent signing of Lewis Mayo, who has joined from Rangers for an undisclosed fee.”
