Kilmarnock have re-signed defender Stuart Findlay on a loan deal from English club Oxford United.
The Scotland international has agreed a fourth spell at Rugby Park having twice joined the Ayrshire club on temporary deals prior to a three-year tenure between 2018 and 2021.
The centre half, who became a key player in the side that finished third under current national team boss Steve Clarke in the 20128/19 campaign, departed to join Major League Soccer club Philadelphia Union before signing a four-year deal at the U’s last summer.
He played 44 times for the club as they avoided relegation to League Two.
Findlay previously spent time on loan at the club from both Celtic and Newcastle United.
He joins Kyle Magennis, Will Dennis, Corrie Ndaba, Robbie Deas, Kieran O’Hara and Matty Kennedy in arriving at Killie this summer as manager Derek McInnes refreshes his squad.
“Stuart established himself as a fan favourite in the heart of defence, playing a vital role as the club achieved back-to-back record-breaking points totals, and an unforgettable third-place finish,” the club said in a statement.
“Everyone at Kilmarnock FC would like to wish Stuart a warm welcome back home.”
