Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Ange Postecoglou have named their teams.

Kemar Roofe starts for Rangers in place of injured Alfredo Morelos in the Old Firm derby, but Kyogo Furuhashi is not in Celtic squad for the match at Ibrox.

Allan McGregor starts in goal for Rangers behind a back four of Calvin Bassey, Leon Balogun, Connor Goldson and captain James Tavernier.

Ryan Jack, Aaron Ramsey and John Lundstram are in midfield, with Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo supporting Roofe.

The Rangers substitutes are Jon McLaughlin, Filip Helander, Borna Barisic, Steven Davis, Glen Kamara, James Sands, Scott Arfield, Amad Diallo and Fashion Sakala.

Celtic have Joe Hart in goal and Greg Taylor, Carl Starfelt, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Josip Juranovic in defence.

Captain Callum McGregor is in a midfield three with Reo Hatate and Tom Rogic, with Jota and Daizen Maeta flanking striker Giorgos Giakoumakis.

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou had said that striker Kyogo Furuhashi was fit and ready to play but the Japanese forward is not in the match day squad.

The substitutes for the visitors are: Scott Bain, Nir Bitton, Liel Abada, David Turnbull, James McCarthy, Mikey Johnston, Yosuke Ideguchi, Matt o’Riley and Anthony Ralston.

Defending champions Rangers trail their city rivals by three points, and have lesser goal difference, but have home advantage as they try to pile pressure on the leaders.

Celtic travel across the city knowing that opening up a six-point gap with only six more games to play would be a significant step towards winning the league.

The sides have met twice this season, with Rangers winning 1-0 at Ibrox in August, and Celtic running out 3-0 victors in the reverse fixture in February.
