John Beaton will take charge of the first Old Firm derby of 2023, it has been announced.

The experienced official has been handed the whistle for the Ibrox clash on January 2 having refereed the last meeting between the two clubs at the back end of last season.

Willie Collum has been appointed as the VAR for the first time the technology is deployed in an Old Firm match.
