Jili Buyabu has ended his loan deal with Motherwell early, returning to parent club Sheffield Utd for “personal reasons”.
The full-back was a deadline day signing for Stuart Kettlewell’s side, signing a deal until the end of the season.
However, the 20-year-old’s stay had ended after just a few weeks. Buyab played for Motherwell on just once occasion, coming on as a substitute in the team’s Scottish Cup defeat to Morton at Cappielow.
Motherwell confirmed the exit in a brief statement on their official website, which read: “Defender Jili Buyabu has returned to his parent club Sheffield United for personal reasons.
