Ivorian midfielder Ismaila Soro is a step closer to joining Celtic after the club announced that he had completed a medical.
Celtic reached agreement with Israeli side Bnei Yehuda last week on a £2m fee for the player.
Soro underwent medical tests in Israel and Celtic confirmed that the player had successfully come through the procedure.
The move will now be completed when the player receives a work permit to travel to the UK.
The 21-year-old played in Moldova and Belarus before moving to Israel in 2018.
Neil Lennon has indicated he could make up to four signings during this window.
Patryk Klimala joined the champions on a four-and-half year deal last week.
