Greenock Morton have confirmed the signing of former Celtic defender Efe Ambrose.
The 34-year-old, who has been capped 51-times for Nigeria, has joined the Championship side until the end of the season.
Ambrose spent five years at Celtic Park where he won four league titles, a Scottish Cup and a League Cup between 2012 and 2017.
After leaving Celtic he also had spells at Hibernian, St Johnstone, Livingston and Dunfermline.
As well as his trophy wins in Glasgow, he also helped Hibs win the Championship in 2017 and won the African Nations Cup with Nigeria in 2013.
Morton, who are currently sixth in the Championship, confirmed the signing on Wednesday.
A statement released on social media said: “Greenock Morton are delighted to announce the signing on Efe Ambrose on a deal until the end of the season.”
The experienced defender will wear the number 12 shirt at Cappielow.
