Scotland have lost 1-0 to Finland in a qualifying match for the Women’s European Championships.
Finnish midfielder Eviliina Summanen scored the only goal of the game that was played in Helsinki on Tuesday night.
The defeat leaves Scotland second in the group and four points behind the hosts with a game in hand.
It is also Shelley Kerr’s team’s first dropped points of the campaign.
A strong Scotland team, including Erin Cuthbert and Caroline Weir, hoped to get the three points that would take them top of the group after four games.
And with 62% possession, and 16 shots to 8, they will feel they might have deserved to take something from the game.
But it was Finland, managed by former Scotland boss Anna Signeul, that took the victory with a goal just after half-time.
