Celtic’s bid to sign of West Ham striker Albian Ajeti on a season-long loan has stalled
The 23-year-old was set to travel to Scotland to undergo a medical and put the finishing touches to his move.
However, the deal has now been put on hold while the player considers his options.
The deal between Celtic and West Ham was believed to include an option to buy the Swiss international at the end of the season.
Ajeti moved to West Ham from Basel in 2019 after scoring 29 goals in 58 matches for the Swiss side.
He made nine appearances for David Moyes’ side last season but failed to find the net.
Meanwhile, Greek goalkeeper Vasilis Barkas is close to completing his move to Parkhead on a four-year-deal after arriving in Glasgow.
