Ivorian midfielder Eboue Kouassi has left Celtic to join KRC Genk on a permanent deal.
The move brings an end to the 22-year-old’s ill-fated spell in Glasgow following his arrival from Russian side Krasnodar in 2017.
Kouassi failed to make an impression on the first team, only making a handful of appearances during his time in Glasgow.
The holding midfielder’s time in Scotland was blighted by injury after suffering a cruciate ligament tear in a League Cup semi-final win over Hearts.
Kouassi moved to Genk in January with an option to buy.
Although only featuring four times for the Belgian side, the midfielder has shown enough potential to earn a permanent switch to the club.
