Tony Docherty and Philippe Clement have named their starting line-ups for Wednesday’s rescheduled Premiership match.
Dundee host Rangers at Dens Park with the visitors hoping to cut the gap to league leaders Celtic to one point ahead of the split.
Defeat to Ross County on Sunday, coupled with the Hoops’ 3-0 win over St Mirren on Saturday, means Clement’s side sit four points adrift in the race for the title.
They will be looking to get back to winning ways on Tayside following only two victories from their last seven games in all competitions and one from their last four league games.
However Dundee have aspirations of their own as they aim to secure European football next season.
They currently sit three points behind fifth placed St Mirren and eleven behind fourth placed Kilmarnock, so a win could put them back in contention for a Conference League spot.
Fourth place are guaranteed European football while fifth place will also take part if one of the top three, who are all in the semi-finals, win the Scottish Cup.
The game at Tayside, which has been postponed twice due a pitch issues at Dens Park, is the final game before the top-flight splits into two.
Tony Docherty has started with McCracken in goals behind Shaughnessy, Dodgson, McGhee, Lamie, Boateng, Sylla, McGowan, Tiffoney, Cameron and Bakayoko.
Clement has Butland in goals with a defence of Tavernier, Goldson, Souttar and Sterling.
Lundstram anchors a three man midfield beside Lawrence and Cantwell with Sima, Silva and Roofe leading the line.
