Dundee United unveil branded tangerine face masks for fans

Dundee United have unveiled branded face coverings for fans during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Championship winners are offering two different tangerine designs for supporters to buy, with a percentage of profits going to the NHS.

The move comes after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has advised Scots to wear face coverings in shops or on public transport.

Wolves have already sold over 11,000 masks to their supporters after becoming the first Premier League side to create branded coverings.

United’s head of retail Grant Blue said: Many of our supporters work in key roles and are continuing to do so in these uncertain times.

“The sale of these branded face coverings provide us with the opportunity to say thank you to them and all other key workers with a percentage of the sales going to the NHS to help the fight against the virus.”
