Celtic’s signing of Gangwon FC winger Yang Hyun-jun “has been confirmed”, a statement from the South Korean club said.
Announcing the news of the 21-year-old’s departure on Instagram, Gangwon FC wrote: “Yang Hyun-jun’s transfer to Celtic has been confirmed. There is a goodbye to Yang after today’s game, everyone please stay with us until the end.”
He becomes Celtic’s third summer signing since the return of manager Brendan Rodgers following Mario Tilio, who has arrived from Melbourne City, and Odin Thiago Holm who has been secured from Valerenga.
Celtic have yet to confirm what would be their fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
The club have also made fellow midfielder Tomoki Iwata a permanent signing after his loan from Yokohama F Marinos.
