Holders Celtic will travel to play Motherwell in the quarter-finals of the Premier Sports Cup.
The draw for the last eight took place after Ange Postecoglou’s side had beaten Ross County 4-1 in Dingwall in the second round and geve last season’s winners one of two all-Premiership ties.
Kilmarnock will face Dundee United with both top flight sides aiming to reach Hampden.
Rangers have been drawn to play Dundee at Ibrox in their quarter-final tie and Aberdeen’s home game against Partick Thistle completes the line-up for the next stage of the competition.
Rangers booked their place in the draw with a 3-1 win over Queen of the South while Partick Thistle were 1-0 winners over Arbroath in the last round. Aberdeen beat Annan 4-1 after extra-time to reach the last eight and Dundee beat Falkirk 3-0 in their tie on Tuesday.
Dundee United put their recent dismal form behind them to win 2-1 at Livingston and take a step closer to Hampden, while Motherwell cruised to a 4-0 win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Celtic were 4-1 winners at Ross County as their trophy defence continued, and Kilmarnock progressed after a 1-0 win over Hearts at Tynecastle.
