Celtic have confirmed the signing of Japan international Kyogo Furuhashi.
The 26-year-old winger joins the Hoops from J1-League club Vissel Kobe on a four-year-deal.
He has scored 14 goals in 20 league games this season and is currently the top scorer in Japan where he has been playing beside Spain and Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta.
Furuhashi, who has three goals in six appearances for the national team, joins Israeli teenager Liel Abada who confirmed his move to Celtic Park on Thursday.
Manager Ange Postecoglou said: “We are delighted to bring Kyogo Furuhashi to Celtic. He is a player of real quality and clearly someone I know well.
“I think he will add something special to our squad and I am sure the way he plays will excite our supporters. We look forward to welcoming him to Celtic.”
The transfer is subject to international clearance.
