Celtic are the only Scottish club included in the top 50 most valuable brands in football with the Scottish champions worth over £90m.
The Hoops have been named alongside European heavyweights such as Manchester United and Real Madrid by the world’s leading brand valuation and strategy consultants.
Brand Finance revealed the top 50 for 2023 and put Celtic in 42nd place with a total value of £90.6m.
However the eye-watering figures still leave them trailing the likes of treble-winning English and European champions Manchester City who top the list with a brand value of over £1bn.
Spanish giants Real Madrid are in second place with Barcelona, Manchester United and Liverpool making up the top-five as the gap between the top five leagues and the rest continues to grow.
The Parkhead side are one of only five clubs from outside the top five leagues of England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France included and are named ahead of two Premier League sides in Brentford and Fulham, but recently relegated Leicester remain in a lofty 27th place with a brand value of £144m.
Just ahead of the Hoops are Portuguese giants Benfica who have jumped up seven places from last year with Ajax the top ranked team outside the big five in 30th.
Celtic’s recent success, including a domestic treble last season, has their position rise two places from 44th last year and they are ahead of Brentford, La Liga giants Athletic Bilbao, who they will play in James Forrest’s testimonial on Tuesday, Serie A side Lazio and Union Berlin.
Making up the list are Valencia in 47th, Porto in 48th, Fulham in 49th and Brazilian side Flamengo in 50th place.
The list takes into account the current value of the club’s earnings and brand reputation, but does not take into account the value of the playing squad.
