Serie A side Lecce are close to agreeing a loan deal for Celtic defender Gustaf Lagerbielke for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old signed for the Scottish champions in the summer but has been unable to hold down a regular place in the team, making just nine appearances.
Lagerbielke has found it hard to displace the likes of Cameron Carter-Vickers and Liam Scales at the back.
Scales has been a stand out defender for Celtic this season since returning from his loan-spell at Aberdeen and is now seen as the first-choice partner for Carter-Vickers if both are fit.
Maik Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh have also played in recent games and are both seen as being ahead of Lagerbielke in the pecking order.
But he did play in a 1-0 win over Rangers at Ibrox and scored a late winner against Feyenoord in the Champions League.
The Sweden international, who has been capped twice for his country, moved to Glasgow from the Allsvenskan side Elfsborg.
