Celtic have completed the signing of Israeli winger Liel Abada from Maccabi Petah Tivka on a five-year deal.
The 19-year-old was in Glasgow on Wednesday to finalise his move and joins the Parkhead club subject to interntional clearance.
Celtic have already signed Liam Shaw and Osaze Urhoghide this summer, with a number of players already having left since last season, and question marks over the future of several current players.
Abada came through the youth ranks at his hometown team Maccabi Petah Tikva and made his first-team debut with the club in January 2019, aged 17. He has gone on to make a total of 76 appearances for the Israeli club, scoring 20 goals along the way.
The teenage winger earned his first cap for the Israeli national side in June in a 3-1 win against Montenegro.
Abada is the third new arrival at Celtic under Ange Postecoglou following on from Liam Shaw and Osaze Urhoghide.
He is expected to begin training with his Celtic teammates on Friday when they return to Lennoxtown after Wednesday night’s game against Bristol City.
Postecoglou, who took over last month, is working hard to add to his options ahead of Celtic’s first Champions League qualifier against FC Midtjylland next week.
