Derek McInnes made a couple of changes at half-time as he looked to get his side back in the game with Joe Wright and Liam Polworth replacing Corrie Nbada and Kyle Vassell.

And the home side had an early flurry of chances in the second-half in an attempt to get a goal back.

Danny Armstorng thought he got one back soon after but his effort was disallowed after a VAR check found an offside in the build up.
