Inverness boss John Hughes has questioned the dedication of some of his injured players ahead of their Scottish Cup replay against Stirling Albion.

Caley Thistle host the League Two side on Tuesday evening after their goalless draw earlier in the month, with the winners set to face Motherwell in the fifth round.

Hughes says some of his players will be sidelined with knocks, but has challenged them to think about whether they would be more eager to play if it was the latter stages of the tournament.

The manager says he expects full commitment from his squad and some of the players missing the match should remember the club's values.

"You have to come in mentally ready to go," he said. "We're carrying one or two knocks but if it was the Scottish Cup Final tomorrow these guys would be training.

"So you have to look yourself in the mirror, if you're good enough to play in the Scottish Cup Final then why are you not out there training?

"You should be out there training, not carrying a knock, that's a mindset. You need to roll your sleeves up and that's what this club is all about.

"We're rolling and set a standard. No one takes an out and normally that transmits itself onto the playing pitch."

Hughes went on to confirm James Vincent and Josh Meekings remain out with knee injuries, along with Lee Horner who has a foot problem.

Long-term absentees Dean Brill, Aaron Doran are still missing but Richie Foran is edging closer to a return after being named on the bench at the weekend.

Danny Devine, meanwhile, returns to the squad after missing Saturday's defeat to Kilmarnock.
