Mark Warburton has already added to his Rangers squad in this January transfer window, and he has now set his sights on Michael O'Halloran.

However, the Ibrox club have suffered a setback in their efforts to sign the St Johnstone striker, with two bids thrown out by the Perth side.

Rangers have been told to up their offer for O'Halloran, with Saints making clear that they won't sell their top scorer on the cheap.

Celtic are also looking to add to their attacking ranks in this window, with Scotland international Steven Fletcher the "most likely move" for the striker.

Of course, Fletcher has been linked with a move to Celtic Park before, but with his Sunderland contract set to expire at the end of the season the Hoops can already talk to the player.

Aberdeen have launched a bid for Partick Thistle's Stuart Bannigan, while Ross County are hoping to bring back Paul Quinn to the club from the Dons. It's all in today's Transfer Talk.
