ScotRail is running a limited service via Glasgow Queen Street low level station following an “operational incident”.
The rail operator announced the update to services on Saturday following the incident on Friday evening.
The incident took place between Airdrie and Shettleston, with no trains running between Airdrie and Bathgate on Saturday.
ScotRail stated that trains will run hourly in both directions on the Helensburgh-Shettleston, Edinburgh-Bathgate, and the Balloch-Bellgrove routes.
Replacement buses will also run between Shettleston and Bathgate, calling at all stations.
Services to and from Glasgow Queen Street high level and Glasgow Central station are not affected.
