The most popular baby names in Scotland have been revealed.
Jack had spent 14 consecutive years at number one for boys but has been knocked off the top spot by Noah with 373 babies given the name in 2022.
For the second year in a row, Olivia has been the top name for girls, according to the baby name chart from National Records of Scotland (NRS).
But while Noah and Olivia are the favourites across the country, different areas have their own top monikers.
Olivia was the most (or joint most) common girls’ name in five of Scotland’s council areas while Noah came first in seven areas.
