Scotland has recorded a further 2363 cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours.
Figures released by the Scottish Government on Saturday also showed there was one new death connected to the virus registered on Saturday.
However, the number of deaths may be artificially low as register offices are usually closed at weekends.
The figures indicate the death toll under the daily measure – of people who first tested positive for the Covid-19 within the previous 28 days – is now 8774.
Of 29,149 new tests that recorded results 8.7% were positive.
That represents a 0.6% increase in the positivity rate from the previous 24 hours.
There were 935 people in hospital with recently confirmed Covid-19 on Friday with 54 of those in intensive care.
A total of 4,253,765 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccination and 3,861,899 have received their second dose.
