Police are searching for an attempted murder suspect who could have travelled to Scotland.

Jack Crawley is wanted in connection with an attack on a man near the village of Acaster Malbis, York, on January 5.

The public is asked not to approach the 19-year-old who has links to Leeds, Rotherham, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh. It’s believed the teenager could be travelling around different locations.

Crawley is described as white, 6ft 10ins in height, of proportionate build with very short hair and short facial hair. He is left-handed and wears size 9.5 footwear.

Anyone who believes they have seen Crawley or has any information about his location should contact police. The investigation team can be contacted directly.

Anyone who sees Crawley is advised not approach him but dial 999 when safe to do so.
