Scotland has recorded 2726 new cases of coronavirus but no further deaths in the last 24 hours, according to latest figures.
That number represents 11% of the 25,648 new tests that reported results and is a drop of 382 from the figures released on Saturday.
It comes just three days after the country recorded its highest number of daily Covid-19 cases since the start of the pandemic.
Figures released on Thursday revealed 4234 people had tested positive.
It was the third time in less than a week that a new high was recorded following Monday’s 3285 and 3887 on Wednesday.
A total of 316 people are currently in hospital with recently confirmed Covid-19, a rise of ten overnight. Out of those, 25 patients are in intensive care.
It was also confirmed that 3,857,584 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 2,762,156 have now received their second dose.
