Coronavirus: Scotland records 761 new cases overnight

There have been no deaths reported in the last 24 hours, which sees the death toll remain at 7681.

A further 761 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Scotland overnight, according to the Scottish Government.

The daily test positivity rate is 5.2%, up from 5% reported on Sunday.

No further deaths were reported, which sees the total number of deaths of those who tested positive for the virus remain at 7681.

A total of 128 people were in hospital on Sunday with recently confirmed Covid-19, with 17 patients in intensive care.

There have now been 3,517,668 Scots who have received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, an increase of 20,381 from the day before.

A total of 2,446,834 people have received their second dose, a rise of 21,009.
