Scotland has recorded four deaths of coronavirus patients in the past 24 hours and 2317 new cases, according to the latest data.
The death toll under this daily measure – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – now stands at 7800.
The daily test positivity rate is 8.6%, up from 8.5% the previous day, the latest figures published by the Scottish Government indicate.
A total of 517 people were in hospital on Friday with recently confirmed Covid-19, down 15 in 24 hours, and, of these, 49 patients were in intensive care, up one.
So far, 3,970,026 people have received the first dose of a Covid-19 vaccination and 2,954,776 have received their second dose.
