The number of people in Scotland who have tested positive for coronavirus has risen to 16.

The Scottish Government confirmed another five cases on Saturday with the number expected to rise even further in coming days.

A Six Nations rugby match between Scotland and France set be played in Glasgow on Saturday had to be cancelled when a player was confirmed as having the contagious virus.

Scotstoun Sports Campus has also had to close it doors after a user was diagnosed.

The new stats include a second confirmed case in Glasgow.

Around 1664 people have been tested for Covid-19 in Scotland sofar with the vast majority coming back negative.
