The latest daily figures have been confirmed by the Scottish Government.

There have now been more than 100,000 cases of coronavirus in Scotland since the beginning of the outbreak.

The country recorded 643 positive tests on Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since March to 100,106.

Another five deaths of people with the virus have been confirmed by the Scottish Government.

The first case of Covid in the country was confirmed on March 1.

More than 1.2 million people have been tested at least once for the virus since then, according to the Scottish Government.

There were 951 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus on Saturday – 62 of whom were receiving treatment in intensive care.
