Shona Robison is taking questions from MSPs as she fills in for Humza Yousaf at FMQs.
The First Minister is reportedly ill and will be absent from the chamber on Tuesday afternoon.
It comes amid a continuing row with the Scottish and UK Governments after Yousaf met with a number of world leaders without a UK official present.
The SNP leader missed a session of FMQs two weeks ago while in Dubai for COP28.
