Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross is self-isolating after a member of his staff tested positive for Covid-19.
The party said the staff member received a positive lateral flow test result on Wednesday at around 10pm.
And they explained that Ross, along with five members of staff, are now self-isolating and have taken PCR tests.
A lateral flow test taken by Ross on Wednesday at around 5pm was negative, they added.
The staff members and Ross had not, at the time of the statement from the party, been contacted by Test and Protect, as the positive result was from a lateral flow test and not a PCR.
The Scottish Parliament has been informed, as the member of staff was in the building on Wednesday.
