Rishi Sunak is delivering a public address from Downing Street just two hours after giving a speech at the Scottish Tory conference in Aberdeen.
The Prime Minister made the more than 500-mile journey via jet just after 3pm to deliver the speech which will start at around 5:40pm.
It’s understood it will not concern the upcoming general election, which Sunak confirmed would be this year.
“The Prime Minister’s address will touch on recent events, including in Parliament last week, and the need to protect our democratic processes,” Downing Street said in a statement.
